Our Purpose for Marriage Defined

Dearest Family of God;

Your attention please to the accompanying pages, containing an individual petition for a Constitutional Amendment, defining marriage.

It is our heart felt concern that this issue must be faced and dealt with by all Americans, regardless of race, creed, color, religious, or irreligious background. Marriage is the common bond and cultural bridge of our entire race. Preordained of and by nature for companionship and reproduction. It separates and establishes mankind above all other creatures. Within a marriage relationship, we are meant to find love, honor, duty, heritage, devotion, valor, dignity, virtue, care, concern, and inspiration in all things vital to the perpetual existence of the human race. Since the dawn of creation; from the primitive jumping of the stick, to a modern, full-blown cathedral wedding, marriage has been between a man and a woman.

We, the people, for ourselves and our posterity, must speak out. Let us be heard loud and clear on this matter and not be found guilty of handing our children, our grandchildren, and all future descendants over to chaos. In a very private setting, in our home or office, let each and every one of us inform our leadership that this vital fortress of social order must be rendered impregnable.

Each petitioner is to make four copies of the individual petition; one is to be mailed to the Constitutional committee, one is to be mailed to your congressman, and one is to be mailed to your state representative and one is to be mailed to your US senator.  Please, one and all, mail each individual petition in an individual envelope, to each individual representative, for we are sure that the volume of mail on this issue is of extreme importance.

Our message of compassion to the entire gay-lesbian community, regarding your agenda promotion, is this: Your right to privacy between consenting adults has been established. Begin to practice utmost discretion in your private and social lives. Start to be more kind and considerate of each other. Bring true professional creativity to your fields of endeavor. Allow these three: discretion, kindness, and professionalism to be your cloak of social acceptance.

"Let all things be done decently and in order."
